Americo still has free shipping
By Megan Goodacre

See what I mean about Mondays?
I know that, this time of year, we're all getting emails bombarding us with shopping temptation. However, I just want to let you know that Americo Original is still offering free shipping (within North America) for a few more days.
If you haven't had a chance to visit the shop or try the yarns, I recommend both.
I have been a fan of Americo ever since Charles brought home some skeins from Toronto a couple of years ago. And at the moment, I am working on a pattern collection that is using about 8 of Americo's yarns.
My favourite colour from Americo? Charcoal Grape. A sophisticated blend of grey and plum.
My favourite yarns so far:
Sedoso (Lace weight, cashmere, silk, alpaca. See the second to last photo.)
Mezcla de Lujo (Worsted weight, cashmere and merino. This would be my go-to luxury yarn for warm winter knitting if I needed any more yarn.)
Pima Cotton (buttery soft, comes in a sport and heavy lace weight. I used this for my Hollywell.)
Baby Suri (Delightfully soft sport weight.)
Dehaired Baby Llama (A very pretty yarn. My mom made an Autumn Vines Beret with less than one skein of the Pearl colourway. See the last photo.)
Winter Flamme (Gorgeous thick and thin, with really good mileage. This one is pretty famous from Mags Kandis's Mothed Pullover. Only requires 2-4 skeins. Free pattern on Knitty.)
Linen Cordon (I know of no other yarn quite like this one; you really have to see it in person to appreciate it. Pima, silk and linen in a lace weight.)
