Happy Friday and a stack of knitting
By Megan Goodacre

The new Claro wrap pattern, designed for Knit Picks' new Lindy Chain, will be ready soon! It needs modelled photos, which I'll get very soon. If you're waiting patiently, thank you. If you're really keen, I can tell you that it takes 5 balls of Lindy, and measures 13 x 70 inches, and is knit in one piece, end to end. It has some lace, but isn't overly lacy, if you know what I mean.
If you're wondering why I haven't been publishing many new patterns, here's a peek of some of the things that are in the works. You can see Claro perched on the top there. And this stack of knitting is just some of what's happening at Tricksy Knitter. Wait for it, it's going to be Legendary.
Right now, I'm knitting a quick (I hope) summer cardigan for myself, in one of my favourite yarns, Hempathy.
When I need to start a new project, I get out yarns that have been calling to me, and try to narrow it down. That doesn't always help because I have a hard time choosing only one yarn. This time, it was down to some Quince Tern, Americo Winter Flamme, Tosh Lace, Americo Linen Cordon, and Hempathy. Hempathy won out because it seemed the perfect yarn for summer knitting. It's Charcoal, a dusty purple-grey, just lovely. I've tried to knit a sweater out of it three separate times. Fourth time is the charm I just know it. There's a snapshot of the cardigan in progress on my Facebook page.
