More new yarn
By Megan Goodacre

Another quick post for today. Went to Nanaimo for some shopping with Teresa; checked out Mad About Ewe, a lovely yarn shop in the Old City Quarter. And there we met the talented (and cheerful) Lynette Meek, one of the winners in Vogue Knitting's Magical Mohair competition.
Finally got a chance to get my hands on some Tosh Lace, in Bark and Briar. The colours are so perfect. Followed by a delicious cafe mocha, then lingerie shopping at The Bay. The quintessential Canadian knitter's afternoon.
The photos are a bit underexposed, so don't so the richness of the colours; the Bark is sharp yellow ochre/umber, the Briar is dusky violets.
