Not-so-gentle domestic art
By Megan Goodacre

Hey, knitting isn't all cardigans and nerdy sweater vests. This entertaining and inspiring book, Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet and Knit Graffiti, shows another side to this gentle domestic art.
I love the zeitgeistness of books. A week after my friend gave Yarn Bombing to me, what do I see at the local (Courtenay BC) library? That's right, crochet graffiti on the fence posts. AND, as if that isn't enough zeitgeist for you, when I check out the Yarn Bombing site,
I find out that one of the authors is from here, the Comox Valley.
