Stricken fur Geeks
By Megan Goodacre

I love other languages; even the most mundane words are fun. "For" in English becomes "für" in German. I mean, who doesn't love a good umlaut?
If you have any interest in knitting geekery (and I've met quite a few knitters who do) then you'll get a kick out of this new book from O'Reilly Germany: Häkeln + Stricken für Geeks by Verena Kuni. They very generously sent us a copy to check out (alas, I can only look at the pictures, it's in German) because it includes a section on "Mustergeneratoren" (which google tells me means "pattern generators") and there's a mention of the Tricksy Knitter chart maker!
Love the image on the cover!
