Summer cardigan pattern coming soon
By Megan Goodacre

I have spent most of today finishing. Blocking two very large things. (Can't show you yet. Patience, my little hobbits, patience.) And weaving in ends on my Hempathy cardigan. It's actually a mostly seamless knit, but this was my fourth attempt with this yarn. I have reclaimed it a few times, and so some of the pieces were less than 50 grams, and I had extra ends. Weaving in a hemp/cotton blend like Hempathy is a little time consuming; next time I work with it, I'll take the time and join the balls as I go with a Russian join.
I don't want to reveal too much yet. But I will be taking modelled photos of the cardigan tomorrow. And I can tell you that a mediumish sized cardigan took 316 grams (7 balls) of Hempathy, with a stitch gauge of 22 stitches over 4 inches. Skills required: basic knit purl, 3 needle bind off, picking up and knitting, knitting in the round, mattress stitch, and short rows. It's cap sleeve, mostly seamless, and very sweet and comfortable. I think you're going to like it! And it's quite a quick knit; the knitting took a week. The finishing, another day.
