Weekly Bind Off March 09: Now With More Snow

It's been a blur. We've been in Ottawa for almost two weeks now. I'm thinking of myself as a transplanted biologist, sent here to study the ways of Upper Canada.
Observations:
That aside, I have found my needles, and did answer the dilemma of short-rows or no-short-rows.
Oh, and if you're wondering about the knitted raccoon, yes, there is a pattern for him (or her). More on that later..."
Observations:
- There is much snow.
- Appropriate footwear is de rigueur.
- They do not have Moose Tracks ice cream. Savage, n'est-ce pas?
- (see how I'm bilingual now?)
- When people find out that you are from BC, they immediately tell you, Ottawa has 4 distinct seasons."
