WIN a copy of Tempest by Holli Yeoh
By Megan Goodacre

Happy Monday! I have something new and exciting for the blog that I know you are going to enjoy.
Fellow designer Holli Yeoh, (we were both on the Cascadia design team) just published a gorgeous new pattern collection and ebook, Tempest.
Tempest has 11 patterns, all featuring SweetGeorgia Yarns. (And you know how I feel about SweetGeorgia.)
The ebook is 84 pages of gorgeous photos, intriguing designs, all in a stormy palette of violet, blue-green, olive, brown and deep blue. Actually, those words don't do it justice. Here are the SweetGeorgia colourway names for the Tempest palette: Mulberry. Mink. Willow. Magpie. Sapphire. Wasabi. Tea Party. Ultraviolet. Wisteria. Basil. Deep Cove. Auburn. Tumbled Stone. Amethyst.
And then there are the pattern names. Eventide. Haven. Stormwatch. Watermaker. Seaswell. First Beach. Breakers. Makes me homesick for my West Coast.
Don't those names make you want to drop everything and start knitting? It's very distracting.
Holli has very generously offered a copy of Tempest for me to give away! I love giveaways, especially when I get to do the giving. So, I thought we could have a little fun.
It's easy to enter to win! All you have to do is vote for your favourite Tempest image (you can vote for more than one). Enter your email and click Vote! (I only collect your email for the purposes of tracking contest entries and contacting the winner. I will delete all the emails after the contest is over). You have until midnight tomorrow (Ottawa time, October 21) to cast your vote! I'll draw a random winner and post the results of the vote later in the week.
And btw, this is no lightweight collection. It also includes a very meaty section titled Tips & Tricks, with detailed illustrated tutorials for the following Very Useful techniques:
