Yet another book worth having
By Megan Goodacre

I feel like I've been revealing too much about my book addiction...
Here's another good one if you like learning about traditional stitch patterns: Traditional Knitting Patterns: from Scandinavia, the British Isles, France, Italy and Other European Countries. A little bit of everything, from all over the place, it's a great reference.
Not for the faint of heart though, the instructions are written in a very abbreviated form, and many of the abbreviations are different than the ones used today (the book was written in 1962).
