Knitting Stitches: Chevron Stitch
By Megan Goodacre
The word "chevron" refers to a pattern or object using a V or inverted V shape. (The gas company is named after the shape, not other way around!) This knitted Chevron Stitch is just one of many variations. They can be wider, less pointy, combined with seed stitch. Some are made with eyelets, some are made by color changes. This one is great for scarves, or as a motif across the chest of a sweater. Looks the same on both sides.
